It’s a creamy, sweet, caffeinated, and a little bit bitter smoothie, with more nuance than one would expect from a two-ingredient drink.
What makes it better than regular iced coffee ?
- Banana works incredibly well as a thick and naturally sweet vegan creamer
- It’s a satisfying and healthy treat
- It’s surprisingly simple to put together
Freeze overripe bananas and coffee
Need to save some overripe bananas ? Peel and cut bananas in chunks and freeze. Frozen banana is a great mealprep to always have at hand for banana nicecream and more. You can also freeze your leftover coffee in ice cubes so you don’t have to brew a new coffee everytime you have iced coffee cravings. It also allows you to have a stronger coffee because you don’t need to water down the coffee with ice. The only fresh ingredient you need is your milk of choice.
